I know you've got something you want to achieve athletically this year. Publicly stating your goals will certainly make you more committed and give us the opportunity to encourage you.
What do you want to accomplish? Finish a 5k? Rx'd Fran? Real pull-ups? Muscle-ups? Handstand push-ups? Bodyweight clean and jerks? Master the zone? Double unders? 300+ Fight Gone Bad? More Cindy rounds? Faster sprints? Better form? Heavy snatches? Overhead squats?
I thoroughly enjoy seeing and hearing of your successes. Going for a personal record is great, but let's set some goals and declare what we want to achieve this year. I look forward to working with you this year in creating the strongest, fastest, fittest you.
Jennie
Helpful tips from Again Faster to maximize your training.

Since no one has posted yet, I will start.
Here are a few things I want to do in 09, I am sure the list will grow as the year goes on:
1. Improve my 5K time each race and try to run some type of race each month.
2. Start and finish a 10K
3. Start and finish a half marathon
4. Do a real pull up (I am sick of the box)
5. Increase my reps of REAL push ups
6. Increase my fight gone bad score to at least 225.
7. Improve my form on all lifts so I can increase my weight.
Thanks for the encouragement Jennie!

ok, i had to give this one some thought. I want goals that will make me push myself but i want to be realistic.
overall to improve my times consistently, improve form, increase weight, etc.
I want to be able to perform all wods as rx'd.
here are a few concrete ones you can hold me to:
crossfit total >600#
2xBW deadlift (with good form)
C & J > BW
Snatch...anything. just snatch.
Nurture this love/ hate relationship with Fran
Run any distance without whining. more specifically a few more 5k's and a half marathon perhaps.
Level 1 cert. / nutrition cert.
Spread the infection of CrossFit!
