Sweet I can't wait to shovel "virtually" this evening!

I found this in the comments on the main site today. This workout hasn't come up since 2005. For those of you that don't know, "OPT" is one of the "elite" crossfitters. He's like superhuman. Anyway, this is what I found and now I really can't wait to virtual shovel, lol.....
OPT's comment from when this WOD last came up 10/3/05:
15:05 as rx'd
before workout - "what the f@#$ is this?"
during - "what the f@#$ is this?"
after - "what the f@#$ was that?"
that was tough

we didn't do this one today at the compound. Did 400 meter run and 50 squats 5 rounds. Ended up with 18:35.

Dang, that sounds worse than the thought of virtual shoveling. I think I'll try both...

Yowza!!!!
3 rounds 17:xx
400m runs & 50 squats
The squats got harder the further I got into the workout, but the running got easier as I went along. Weird. I got that bloody/metallic taste in my mouth on the drive home. Whoopty!

That's when you know you really worked hard, when you get the bloody taste in your mouth! Good job, Jamie!
I got my first unassisted ring dip today, yay me! It wasn't pretty, but hey, most of CrossFit isn't so I'll take it. Dips are a HUGE weakness of mine, but...I WILL have a muscle up by the end of the year.
I started the shoveling WOD with 25# and got about 10 reps in and decided it was really hard. :)
I did the 5 rounds of 400 meters and 50 squats in 16:42. (front door, 2nd hyrant, no ball)
I then took a little breather and started back on the shoveling WOD, modified to a 10# weight on the end instead of 25#. I did 20 shovels, 20 strict push-ups, 20 more shovels and 20 strict push-ups. That was it. My back is so tight, I can't imagine what it would have been like if I'd done the full WOD.

Ashley, I just ate a meal that you'd be proud of - grilled salmon, steamed squash and zuchinni, boiled new potatoes, and peas. Is a pat of butter enough fat? I better go crunch on some almonds.

Did a 7 mile hike in the Coranado National Forest in Arizona. Temp was 101 degrees. Took a 45 min break in the middle to swim in a mountain stream. Total time 4hr 10min.

Sam, is your back throbbing today?! I only did 50 of the prescribed 105 reps and my back is on fire.
If you missed this WOD and get the chance to play with it, do...it sucked!
